Bio:
Mr Fotios Tsogkas studied medicine in the Athens University, Greece and specialized in ophthalmology and oculoplastics in the UK. He has been trained in Gartnavel General Hospital, Inverclyde Hospital, The Royal London hospital, Whipps Cross Hospital and the world renowned Moorfields eye Hospital for a period of 5 years.
After that, he decided to open and run an advanced eye practice in his homeland, Igoumenitsa, Greece, named EYE CARE PLUS, which provides diagnosis and treatment to a wide spectrum of eye conditions.
The range of services include general ophthalmology, refraction, cataract surgery, YAG laser treatments (secondary cataract and narrow angles treatment.), ARGON laser treatments (retinal tear treatment, diabetic retinopathy treatment), pterygium treatment, blepharoplasty, entropio/ ectropion correction, eyelid ptosis treatment, eyelid tumours removal and reconstruction, xanthelasma removal, lacrimal disorders treatment.
Mr Fotios Tsogkas collaborates also with eye centres in northern Greece and Athens for retinal detachment treatments, glaucoma surgery, refractive laser treatments and more specialised surgeries that may need general anaesthetic. EYE CARE PLUS and Mr Tsogkas are dedicated to a constant quality improvement, owed to our patients and our dreams.
